Beyond Freight Management: Our Conservation Legacy

The sun rises over our national parks, painting the sky in bushveld hues. Here, in the heart of our game reserves, something big is happening.

For 43 years, we at Megafreight have moved cargo across continents. At the same time, we have devoted ourselves to conservation and nature, emphasising our commitment to environmental stewardship.

We do this because Africa calls us. Being homegrown means giving back to the soil that raised us.

In the raw wilderness, rangers work tirelessly to protect our natural heritage. These guardians, both volunteers and professionals, combat poaching daily, especially the critical threat to rhinos. Their dedication, despite limited resources and often unrecognised efforts, inspires us to join their cause.

Our contribution helps equip rangers, anti-poaching dogs with noses sharper than any tracking device we’ve ever used and efforts that keep rhinos alive and poachers at bay. Whenever we get to help, we are reminded that we’re all part of something bigger. Caring for cargo and caring for creation can go hand in hand.

To our clients globally, thank you. Your support makes this possible. You’re not just shipping with us; you’re helping us protect a piece of Africa.

We’re freight forwarders, yes. But we’re also Conservationists of Africa. This comes with a responsibility we’re honoured to bear. So here’s to 43 years of moving goods, and to many more years of moving mountains for conservation.
